Seasons: in 90 days the March will pass twice through all 4 seasons of the year.

Hiroshima Day

6ht August we had a very good and nice event for 6th August ,World Hiroshima Day in Dhaka with the Participation of most of all the friends in Bangladesh (Different Councils). it was in DAS, TSC of Dhaka University area. from 4pm we started and 7pm finsihed.

we begin with the writings of Rafa read out by Nira.than a welcome messege was read by Arif. than doha, pasha, beru and Jashim spoke about Hiroshima day and the connection with WM. also we give information about WM and it's arrival information in dhaka. we distributed lifleat about world march inside the program. also we took endosement which is about 250 in numbers. between the discussion program we continued cultural activities like songs and poetry which help us to get informed people which is about 400 people in numbers. i send some pictures of the day also i filled up a XL Sheet. hugs to all and congratulations to all of our friends who made this program successfully though from the morning it was raining, we didn't gave up our hope to organize the program.

Welcome to BD World March for Peace & Nonviolence

The World March will begin in New Zealand on October 2, 2009, the anniversary of Gandhi’s birth, declared the “International Day of Non-Violence” by the United Nations. It will conclude in the Andes Mountains (Punta de Vacas, Aconcagua, Argentina) on January 2, 2010. The March will last 90 days, three long months of travel. It will pass through all climates and seasons, from the hot summer of the tropics and the deserts, to the winter of Siberia. The stages will be the longest American and Asian, both almost a month. A permanent base of a hundred people of different nationalities will complete the journey.
The March Will Arrive in Bangladesh 9th Octobor 2009 And leave 11th Octobor 2009.

March 14, as initiative of some Councils, we made a press conference of launching of the World March in Dhaka. There 7 media, 1 TV, 1 digital newspaper and 5 newspapers in paper cover the news,

     
Sign for Peace & NonViolence Program in TSC Dhaka University

10 march a “Sign for Peace & Nonviolence” Program was carried out by the Friends in TSC, Dhaka University . Initiative was taken by the Students Humanist Forum of Dhaka University. it was a great pleasure for all of us that teachers from different Departments , Students from Dhaka university, Jagannnath University, Dhaka College, Mohammadpur Kendrio College, Eden Girls College arrive to the program and make their Endorsement for Peace & Nonviolence. Structural Members from different neighborhoods and people who love peace and Nonviolence also they took part. Our friends from Spain and USA helped us to continue our effort for this great activities. Total participants were 260 who endorsed and Say “No to Violence”.

     
     
Seminar & Peace Sign Campaign in JahangirNagar university, Savar, Dhaka

March 15 we carried out a Seminar on World March for Peace & Nonviolence also a “Sign for Peace & Nonviolence” Program in Jahangirnagar University which very near the Dhaka City. it was done in Government & Politics Department where 4 Teachers and 45 Students attended the seminar, it was a participatory seminar where we speak out about different form of World march and initiatives can make possibilities of diversification. Shila a student of Jahangirnagar University arrived to the launiching program in Dhaka University and liked to take initiative that we agreed within a day.
